About Mark Trolio
Mark was born and raised in the New York metropolitan area and attended Catholic schools from grades 1 -12, receiving his undergraduate degree from a local Catholic university. He was awarded his Masters in Theology in 2010. Mark has been a Religious Education Catechist for 38 years (teaching grades 3 through 8). In addition, he was a Theology Teacher at a local all-girl Catholic high school from 2005 to 2016, teaching Sacred Scripture, the Sacraments, Moral Theology, and Church History. At this high school, Mark was the Moderator of its Catholic League student chapter. He was also the faculty coordinator of all student volunteer activities with and for Habitat for Humanity’s construction builds in Nassau County (NY), as well as in New Orleans (LA) and Wilmington (DE). He led his school’s student volunteers to the Midnight Run and the St. Francis Breadline, both in New York City – and Mark also led 45+ student contingents to the Annual Marches for Life in Washington, D.C. Mark is an active member of his local parish and has been married to his wife Anna for 49 years.
