The month of April is dedicated to the most Holy Eucharist. Today, I will share how kids can honor Jesus in the Holy Eucharist this April.
What is the Holy Eucharist?
The Holy Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. Learn more about the Holy Eucharist here.
What can kids do to honor Jesus in the Eucharist?
Go to Adoration
Adoration is where you go to pray to Jesus in the Eucharist. At Adoration, you might see a monstrance holding the Eucharist. You can also adore Jesus in the tabernacle in a church or chapel.
What do I do in Adoration?
Find an adoration chapel near you or simply go to your church. At church or adoration kneel down and shut your eyes. You will be right in front of Jesus.
You can also bring books to read such as “Jesus, I Adore You” and “Come to Me in the Blessed Sacrament.”
Stay in Adoration for however long you want. Jesus loves when you visit Him!
What can I pray in Adoration?
You can pray any prayers, such as the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, O My Jesus, or the Apostles’ Creed.
You can also simply say to God ten or more things you are thankful for.
