I am a Catholic wife, mother, educator, as well as founder and senior editor of Teaching Catholic.com. I have been teaching 2nd Grade in a Catholic Elementary, including First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation, since 2006. Before teaching in a Catholic School, I had taught Confirmation Prep classes for my parish. I began teaching Baptism Classes to those in our church seeking the sacrament of Baptism for their children, last year. I have spoke at various Confirmation Retreats around the Greater Toledo Area as well as planned Diocesan wide conferences for youth. I love sharing my faith with my students during the school day. Helping my students understand the sacraments and the Catholic Church, has helped me learn more about my faith. I believe God has blessed the world with children to help adults realize how to fully live their faith, and I am a witness to this everyday of my life. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have a career which supports my faith.
